Yes they are both close friends and yes, Simone has helped Boris out withshoes for his show, but I don't think that these shoes are literally produced by Augusta for bbs...these are made in spain and not Italy...

actually, Boris told me that currently the footwear is made in house.

Augusta footwear was used for his SS10 presentation, but not sure about these FW09 boots.

Tell us where you bought them! I guess not directly from BBS
BBS shoes don't have a box, they come only in the black bag. Obviously the shop you ordered it from used tr Augusta box or shipping reasons;)

they do, depending on the material it just might require a different type of dye and a high temperature.

Arto is right.

Very high temp (near boiling) and you use an acid dye. It's the same method used for silk dying. Permanent and really nice results when careful attention is paid during the entire process.

Polyester Fabric Dyeing:
Polyester has to be dyed at 280 degrees Fahrenheit in an enclosed pressure chamber, otherwise, it is impervious to the dye. When polyester is blended with natural fibers such as cotton or silk, it can sometimes be difficult to dye both fibers to match without causing damage to the natural fiber.
Q: Will you dye a polyester /cotton shirt for me?
A: Yes, but there is a chance that there will be a nuance between the color of the polyester and the cotton. We have no way of determining the outcome prior to dyeing. We use a proprietary process that increases the chances of success, but we cannot guarantee that we can do the work successfully.
