Found the perfect scarf texture from Sarti on eBay.

I dyed the crap out of it, and after two attempts, the wool didn't take too well. I ended up with some dark shadow browns and slatey blues. Pretty deep colors and interesting for breaking up all the black. : )

Shit that's awesome, I almost bought a Sarti scarf on ebay the other day, but would have wanted to dye it and chickened out just because I hadn't dyed any wool or cashmere before and didn't know how it would work out.

      Nice one.

^I'd never dyed wool or cashmere, either, and it was my second time actually dying anything before, so it might've been an expensive mistake. I figured since the scarf was already boiled/felted, a little more wouldn't hurt.

            Ace pick

Love mine too much that no other shoes in my closet get enough wear....

Super comfortable and durable as hell....After a year of heavy usage they are still in very good shape......DD should make this a recurring theme like RO sneaker

One off-topic question, can you replace this typical sole(entire) at the cobblers??
I think it's the same type of rubber sole as seen on the margiela trainers

sole looks strikingly similar to my gats except it has a stamp, BW-Sport, makers of the original german army trainers.

no idea about replacing, but i'm glad to hear about it's durability. they are indeed comfortable and snug, perfect for recreating this image that's been stuck in my head forever!

              • a dress from bernhard willhelm. i was missing some color. thank god his womenswear works so well on men, given what direction his menswear has been taken last few seasons. the sleeve construction of this thing is pretty nuts. i love his cuts

i don't think the flintstones reference is necessarily a bad thing! as long as you're not going for barney rubble i think you're good.

there are countless companies that make beautiful blazers...arcteryx is not one of them.
i traded my LUC jeans + Julius belt + Neil Barrett jeans for a blamain biker jeans

Veilance is doing just fine. Aimed at a different market, that's all. I didn't get it until I tried on one of their jackets at Firmament. Then it all made sense.

the damir sneakers are creating some sort of cognitive dissonance here
they look amazing, but i've convinced myself now they are slightly too small and i am preparing them to be incinerated

that is, unless someone takes them from me for a nice offer within the next hour or two
