i knew it! i sent him an offer, but he said he had one that was higher... i wouldnt have been so reluctant to pay more had they been in better condition. or if they were the engineer boots.

Congrats Cas! When I got that Atelier e-mail the first thing I thought was that you were going to be scoring a pair.

Why didn't you get the ones that were paper on the outside instead of the inside? Both are striking but the paper outside ones are really quite unique.

Yea, after seeing both of them, I decided the black pair would be a lot more versatile in my wardrobe. I still really like the paper version (the color is better than I originally thought), so maybe if I come upon some cash, I'll get them. [:)] Oh, plus I think the paper version was more....not 100% though.

By the way, the guys at A are awesome! Gentry is the man.

Congrats mate and hope you're having fun at the wedding! Best mannnnn! I've only ever been a groomsman and that was alright haha.

Gentry is a really good guy. I talk with him every now and then and he's very very honest with descriptions and telling you about how things are constructed. Very laid back dude. More SA's should be like him.

haha. a black one indeed. it'll be a bitch to keep clean but worth it when it is... i wanted something fun, not too serious, and speedy (but at the same time understated and not boyracerish) without spending a stupid amount of money (no german or exotics for me... yet? [;)]).

Is that the Mazdaspeed 3 or just the regular hatch? Either way, I've always liked that car (though if I was in the market, I would have been tempted by the VW Golf GTi).
