The more I look at the item... the more confused I get... is this actually not supposed to be cut at all? Every opening (arms, neck, bottom) is sealed right now.

how are the openings sealed? Did they sew them shut?

The versions (finished dyed) that i've seen are open and wearable... raw edged on all openings.

everything but the openings are stitched. the openings themselves seem to be almost glued shut! do you have any photos of the final version?

hmm, I can't seem to find any at the moment...
It was just a solid color shirt with the "fold line" being white (the painted line you took closeups of) on the front and back of the shirt.

I wonder if the openings on the shirt are closed using a water soluble glue?

Since it's a 2 piece shirt (If I remember correctly... just a front and back panel?) then you can easily take it in at the side seams. The unfortunate thing would be that it would change the relative position of the painted 'silhouette' lines. :(

I just bought these shoes:

Skeleton Key boots, by Chronicles of Never.
They're incredibly comfortable. The insides are lined with this amazing suede.
