Synthetic does not absorb color, So its more like a paint effect which will eventually peel , No?

they do, depending on the material it just might require a different type of dye and a high temperature.

Arto is right.

Very high temp (near boiling) and you use an acid dye. It's the same method used for silk dying. Permanent and really nice results when careful attention is paid during the entire process.
