I went with some white with black toe Helmut Lang sneakers (german military inspired) I've had for awhile. They work OK but I think white shoes look a little too "sporty" for the shorts. They'll have to do until I can pick up the Ann shoes wednesday at Barneys.

Linen is extremely breathable so that's not a problem and pants are relatively short and worn sockless. The heat was still searing but I could manage.</P>

WinQ.. thats awesome outfit.. I imagine you would get lots of onlookers in Shanghai...yes and I can't wait for Joyce to open at Plaza 66.. I wonder what they will carry... I hope that they carry RO... I know that they just dropped CCP... Joyce will be a nice addition now that three on the Bund is closed for good... Appparently three on the bund didn't do well at all.. which is surprising considered how much money there are in Shanghai.. and that Dior homme sells like hot cakes.. But I guess Kris Van Aasche, Ann D, and Galliano does not move in Shanghai
