I was visiting a visual artist / photographer in Lithuania with the purpose of curating a show.

She showed me around and took the pic.

It is actually a picture of an underground church and I am only in it to give perspective and because she insisted. My head is turned away in embarassment. The actual picture is in color. I made it B + W to make it more unidentifiable. I am not clever enough nor have time to put a black strip over my eyes.

Also took a while near the Carpathian high peaks (Romania and al.). Considering how decentralized societies could be don't forget that after a few generations re-christianization (yes I just made up that word) was often needed.
