nice fit st. fuuma, apart from shoes, which don't work with the rest imho. shape is too "harsh", when everything else has a softness, and in a good way, "ordinary-ness"
Amusingly enough I wore the outfit w. dirty white perforated soft leather MMM boots (much softer/rounder). I wanted to see the effect in all-grey. I like it but the boots aren't as "curved" as they appear on the picture.

Even if they are no pointed, the pants are kind of loose on the leg and then the boots are narrow in comparison. To me it doesn't look right. A narrow boot like that would work well with narrower shorter pants or a pair of skinny jeans, but as was pointed out they clash very much with the "normal" top half. What would work is the mmm short boot, as its wide and less rock and roll thus fitting better with the wooly jumper.

Haha, thanks and thank FtB. The engagement is forthcoming probably in the next few months... we're moving to a renovated warehouse/studio/living space with some other craziness going on so once that is all settled then we can move forward hehehe.

I think vietnam is just better than HK for mtm stuff. I've only shopped retail in HK, never gone to any tailors so I'm not 100%.
Oh I was just making a comment that MtM stuff in asia can be wicked cheap. Granted the fabrics may not be the best, but you can get work done for so cheap that it'll blow your mind. $200 for a MtM suit can be considered incredibly expensive in some parts of Asia

That being said, I personally wouldn't hunt such things out for my own use but certainly if someone in my family want 20 shirts in different fabrics using the exact same cut as their favorite shirt... this would be the way to go.

Even his hair was criticized for not conforming to some strict and unwritten rules of presentation. That to me is harsh.
The hair comment I thought was a joke referring to Rick Owens, who straightens and dies his hair black. And since the dude is all decked out in Rick gear, I thought it was funny in a playful way. I won't speak for others - I simply find everything in this outfit ill-fitting, without having to compare the wearer to anyone else.

                    Agreed.
When I saw the pictures, the first thing that came to mind was that the fitting and overall look was really off, Christian did not come to mind at all.

danny's first picture isn't bad, the elephant boots are tricky to work obviously but the l/s and pants fit fairly well. the subsequent ones with the jacket do look off.

I like the video format. Hearing you speak and seeing some movement goes a long way toward understanding how you relate to the clothes.
