are you guys smoking crack? that fit is totally incoherent and suffers from severe lack of 'synergy'

              Guidis look nice though.

You kind of need to pick either casual or formal, man. I think you have... An outfit in two movements!

Either one would look good though.

                Re: move_ment

                I like it
I think one can do formal, with abit of edge....instead of having to pick one specific direction to go with.

Diamonds - are you just pulling move_ment's legs?

^ I don't think Diamonds does. I can understand what he means though, even if it is a tad severe : the leather jacket and the guidis may not find their place so easily in an otherwise almost formal outfit - too rough for that, I suppose.

But in my opinion it can work perfectly : it completely depends on the fabrics of the pants and shirt.
I can see a hat, I can see a cat,
I can see a man with a baseball bat.

M-M you bring up a good point. I'm not sure I would have attempted this combination if it was a regular cotton shirt. It is however 100% wool with noticable textural qualities, the pants are virgin wool and the most formal aspect of the fit (emphasised obviously by the shirt tuck).

and yes, they are sanded calf _7 engineer boots.

I don't mind it at all, but I think it's literally caught in between 2 worlds. Untuck the pants and I think it would be a more balanced outfit, but you may look like a suit on Rock 'n Roll Friday... I think shirts and leather jackets just don't work (personal opinion of course). I would pair the outfit with a suit jacket, keep pants tucked and let the boots do all the talking... a bit like so, but with a shirt of course:

Maybe add a bit of "colour" somewhere.
                        Just a thought.
Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

Totally agree with mrbeuys, I don't like neither a shirt to be paired with a leather jacket : any long jacket, from RO or _7, would have been great. But I like move_ment's fit nevertheless and I'd like as well to see him post more.

Jojje : I like the swedish fit of the trousers for once and especially the continuity between hem and boots.

It's just a little GQ, you know? Rick blazer would look great here.

Yes, the blazer in from SS 07.
Here are two pics from this winter, when I received it, where you'll see the asymetry better.

This kind of blazer should NOT be paired with a regular shirt or a centered belt.

thanks for all the feedback and your kind words Christian. the particular fit felt comfortable for me today. I understand not tucking pants but the _7 boots are too slim/small and look disproportionate (in a bad way) when doing so. I guess I was just sick of deconstruction (today).

this is the un-tucked version of the shirt to show length, which probably works better when paired with leather:
