Personally, I think the main problem with the fencing is the way people form the lapel. In my opinion, it needs to be longer and more vertical. This way, once the leather starts to soften up, it drapes quite nicely.

No, the fencing looks crappy when open, end of story. Only looks good closed or half-closed. I don't think it's that hard to see.

50 is great on the waist, but too big on the shoulders etc ...

i think it is not my jacket ...

and! it is not necessary to closed the fencing. i looks perfekt when open or half closed.

i agree, it actually looks best 3/4 closed IMO. the bauhaus is the only assymetric jacket that looks truly great when opened.

the old fencing debate rears its ugly head again. there's nothing wrong with wearing it open and it looks like it will zip up just fine on hdg were he to want to zip it up and it really doesn't matter whether you wear it open or 1/3 or 2/3 or all the way shut or backwards and it makes no difference if you're wearing the jacket or the jacket is wearing you you'll still look better than 99.9% of the population around you when wearing this thing.
