a music teacher once told me that you are playing jazz and you play a weird/dissonant note when improvising, don't try to cover it up. hit that note again and again, and make it loud. later on in the solo, play a riff around that note five more times. it only sounds bad if it seems you didn't intend it.

however, i don't think there's a parallel between jazz and waywt.

don't further shorten the bottom half. bad advice.

Thanks a lot! The piece is a MONSTER to say the least. I'm gonna try to get a better fit pic to update the post, because I really though it was a beautiful silhouette.

(although those pants are tapered and the tuck looks good to me)

the pants are tapered but until you're a few steps short of jodphurs then boot tucks tend towards the sloppy. all of the tucked military pants i've seen have had small hems with ties or gaiters and most modern army pants i've seen just have drawstring cuffs that you tie above the boot.

i cuff most of my pants on top of boots instead, makes more sense to me.

We need to get a tally of the tuckers vs. non-tuckers here so we know who's gonna be first up against the wall (after tripping over their pants) when the revolution comes.

More times than not, me too. This method works best IMO with shorter ankle boots, which I wear about 70-80% of the time.

I don't think that takes me completely out of the 'tucking' category though. When I wear a slightly taller boot, I usually don't want to show the whole shaft unless I am wearing them untied, or tied loosely. In these [rare] cases though, I think skinny/tapered is the only way to go - AND - skinny/tapered hem needs to be very narrow, like ~6.5 inches - AND - skinny/tapered jeans/pants need to be less than 31 inseam (not too long) and longer than cropped length (not too short), I am 5'11. Otherwise, not getting tucked.

To sum it up, I only tuck about 5% of the time, but I think it can look great on other people even when not under my strict personal 'requirements'. I think the tuck above is fine, but I would probably prefer the tuck if it were into a pair of trainers instead, or less contrasted color boots at least.

dude, stop with all the coy posing - it's so off-putting i don't even wanna look at what you're wearing.

and the blazer is too big.

                              kthx.

I guess we both saw this pre crop.
I say, kudos for rocking the skirts but in this instance it just looks too restrictive. I went for one of the long cotton dress things and that kinda feels right.
Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.
