Arto, loving the earthy tones of your wardrobe which emphasize this serene, romantic look.

In general I agree that Mike and UpArmoured to just name a few do have a great sense of style. However, I miss this personal touch by mix-and-match with highstreet and vintage (sufu member Chris as a great example). It seems the logo-preferations are of more relevance than the actual "art" of style and dressing up.

tokyo jet lag

i guess i put on this outfit sometime after i got back at 11 am and started unpacking (flight left tokyo on sat at noon and i got to nyc at sat at 11 am, so i have flown back to the future) and then passed out for 8 hours and am now wide awake at 4am.
i've had this white ccp overlock 06 vest for awhile but nothing to wear it with.
problem solved: ccp holy grail OD light grey suit s/s 08 purchased from Lift. to find this in my size, the entire suit, was nothing short of a miracle. (if you are looking for inviviseam long coat i suggest you contact them, pretty sick)
shoes are carpe diems 06 from wjk store. they had six pairs on a table in the middle of the store. something sick out of indiana jones. these were the only ones in 43 but had been looking for a "dress" shoe as an alternative to my ccp for awhile. croatoan and I had a great shopping day which also included a trip to diet butcher slim skin which i would have never found. at the conclusion of the day which also included isetan, barneys, lift, attachment, amazing 5 dollar noodle house, we had to decide whether to hit some thrift stores but we were running out of time....so he ruminated-- I did see some Cdiems near where we're going at the wjk store. WTF? please repeat? oh shit, i cant believe i didn't mention it before. rest is grail history

Can't put my finger on the reasoning, but I do not like to combination of the suit with the (off-)white vest.

Love the suit as a spring/summer combo, but personally would have chosen for a darker shade, so the suit could be worn year-round.

Think the suit looks great, I'd just shorten the cuffs. I like the light gray with ivory combination also...bet that'd look good with a knit tie.
