These boots in particular, the Cloak Desert Boot, are designed for the tuck look. I am actually amazed you can get your pant leg around the shaft of those boots.

I also think that in this particular instance of sbw's outfit the jeans look better over the boots, because the jeans look pretty wide, and tucking them into boots would make them baloon, and that's ugly (to me). I think the cloak boots look good both ways - but I think you need slimmer (NOT SKINNY) jeans/pants for tucking in.

Re: waywt

Ya, the Nom de Guerre jeans don't exactly allow me to tuck them in. They're fairly slim and straight, but with an 8 inch opening, they are not the best for tucking. Also, I apologize for the creepy-ass look I'm giving there in that second picture.

Not exactly what I am wearing today.
Just trying on my new purchase, which arrived just now: Julius coat from Japan.
Sorry about crappy pic. Blame it on my camera :)

Re: waywt

It's from 2003 AW thick cotton one button with very strange cut (very boxy when buttoned, but looks fine unbuttoned).
Got it from J yahoo auctions.

I'd say the craftmanship that went into this is top-notch. Very satisfied.

EDIT:
Thanks Albert,
Since I can never get my camera to capture blacks properly, here are the photos from the actual auction.

Really awesome piece Jun. The details are what make it. It could pass as a LMaltieri piece whatwith all the raw edges and double layering.

Great pickup mate.

Yes... I'm trying to get my camera to capture blacks nicely, but it's proven to be difficult as well.
