^ actually i wouldn't be surprised if it has to do with either different brands setting limits as to which markets yoox is allowed to sell to, or possibly also the physical location of stock - as i believe yoox has numerous logistics hubs around the world.

I don't know about the first thing , it could be. About the second one , i think whatever is in European hubs can be shipped worldwide but what's on the American hubs can only be shipped in America. Same thing with returns from American costumers which can only go to other American costumers.

It didn't do well in America...that stuff just sat there but it was a little too close to retail for yoox. I only wondered because I figured it would drop down during sale time to a reasonable price.

My girlfriend just had her first Yoox Murphy's law experience. Ordered yesterday, got the "take additional 10% off" email today.

When that happened to me I just sent in a nice email explaining that I may as well return the stuff and buy it again at the new price.

They offered me the additional discount no problem.

kunk is right. imho, when doing anything in italy (such as arguing with yoox customer service), don't give up. you have to be a bit of a ball-breaker to get things done in that country because of all the red tape - so that is what people expect from you or they won't think you are serious about what you say you want... in bocca al lupo!
