Thread: Good finds

  1. #1

    Default Good finds

NOTICE: Good finds is NOT for promoting your own items, regardless of whether they are sold here or anyplace else. Posting your own sales here may result in banning.

Here's how the good finds work:

    1) You only post items you're not interested in.

    2) If someone post an item you were interested in or now are, just
say so and sometimes they'll remove it or you'll have quite a lot of
posters who'll let you have it.

    3) If someone calls dibs on an item you've posted feel free to remove the link to help them out.

    4) When two people want the same thing it could be a good thing to
PM each other and find a resolution so you end up paying less. You
often find out that you're two different sizes and that if it doesn't
fit you there'll be an happy member who'll buy it back from you at a
    great price.

I saw it starting already in the recent purchases thread- so why not make a thread devoted to things you come across that may be a good deal for someone else.

this CCP leather jacket (46) is up on y! japan auctions now. if it was a 48 i would've snatched it up already.

I don't know if these are the right measurements she gave. I have these in womens size 39, and I am a size 7 US in mens shoes. Great find, btw! Yea, ebay links are allowed, I don't see why not.

anyone wear a 45.5 (probably around a US11.5) in cdiem shoes? there's some linea boots for $500.

How does Carpe Diem run because I need to find a pair of boots?

Also, why is it listed under the brand name Colette?

runs big in my experience. i'm supposed to be a 42 (us9) but i can wear 40-42. i prefer to wear 41 in most. i'm not sure if linea boots run the same as cdiem shoes though. colette had some special thing with yoox last season and was selling labels they carried.

I'm a 46 and the price is good, not feeling it though, looks too "organic" for me (just like most of CDiem and CCP so if you're a fan and size 46 go for it)

CCP boots this is exactly the one I'm looking for and my size, however with the crazy price, I would not consider it "good".

    however
    here's another one in a size 8.

i saw that size 8 on ebay a few hours ago as well. my size
exactly with the weird poell sizing, but 1000?! unfortunately, i won't
be able to front that kind of money for shoes for a long time.
beautiful boot though. is that the boot that's currently in stock
    at "A"?

This is frankly one of the best find I've ever seen on ebay as it's such an iconic design and I've never seen it discounted. I'm really happy someone who can appreciate it picked it up. The material is, of course, quite peculiar but a nice change if you already have 4 leather jackets, which you probably do. Now if only it had been a size 36/46 I would have saved you 350 euros and got it myself. BTW this doesn't look to be the case but if you need to communicate with the seller in french I'll be happy to help you.

I'd love to get a pair of this particular model at a good pricebut sadly I'm a size 7UKin Poell (normaly 8.5 or 9 US but hisfootwear is quite oversized). $1000 for the size 7 is not an excellent dealbut if someone was planning to get them anyway it might be a good idea...

This was from last year's spring collection. A had it, I believe for $1600 thereabouts. I've never gone back to A, but afaik the latest CCP boots are called the elephant boots.

Merci. I will take you up on your offer if anything goes wrong. And my drink offer stands - thanks again.

This particular style ran slim (I tried it on in navy suede last
winter), so it's more of a 48, but would still probably be a little big
for you. This is my 3rd leather jacket, so yes, a nice change in
fabric and color[;)] My 4th jacket will be the CDiem
leather shirt. That is when Mrs. Faust will divorce me on grounds
    of insanity.
