I second this. Bought this piece recently from Lazzari and have been practically living in it.

I've always liked the look of LUC knits but I can't cope with the tight fit. Does any other designer make knits like that but with a loser fit? I'm thinking in terms of materials and stuff.

I don't like the fit either. Why not just size up?

I usually wear pretty oversized stuff, and I don't think I could make it fit like I want just by sizing up to a size 54 or whatever. I like looong and lose tops.
Have you sized up yourself, and if so, do you have a picture of the result?

just size up. I'm a slim 50 and wear an XL in this one, 50-52 in others.

edit: replied before I saw your response.. wearing the classic knits oversized might be difficult. you can get a more relaxed fit by sizing up, but as MoFiya said below, when its intended to be fitted, sizing up multiple sizes will probably just look weird.

As a general rule of thumb, one can always size up at least by one when buying LUC knits. I only own one piece in a 46 (which is my body type). But in fact, you will never get an overlong oversized look out of LUC. If you size up by two or three sizes it is going to look just wrong (not: wrong in an oversized way).

Funny that I completely missed that. Gotta take a look around for some of those, thanks.

Thanks for the correction. Selective attention fooled me again as I always preferred the "classic" knits.

i third this, its thin but very warm in my opinion, just lovely. so lovely that ive worn it too often. the only thing that bothers me a little is how the sleeves curl so i usually wear it reversed (not that im sure which one is the right side out).
