I've been listening to this today as well. My son goes crazy when the title track kicks in properly and, unusually, my girlfriend loves it too. It's our family theme song.

^^ Thanks very much. The Boredoms are probably my favorite band. If I lived closer to NY, I'd definitely go to that show. The last time I saw them was maybe (barring Tom Waits last summer) the best concert I've ever been too. They played for 2 hours straight.

The new Battles is pretty damn good. I fully recommend it. More singing/vocalizing than I expected; but still rather good.

I've never seen them live though, do they put on a good show?

Any New Yorkers who don't go to that Boredoms will become my personal enemies.

Love the Boredoms (Although technically now I believe they're the Vooredoms, where the double-o's are an infinite symbol, but they're billed as the Boredoms to attract larger audiences).
Been listening to lots of recordings of whalesong lately. They sound uncannily similar to records by any number of electroacoustic/free improv groups that I've heard, only, uh, better.
