they did cost $2000, but I thought this was usual of Harnden? Especially with how hard he is to find in general. I think its really worth it from what I've seen. The blazer just has a huge draw in factor for me for some reason. The red one was kinda confusing given he isn't really the guy who I'd expect would make a red blazer...was pretty odd when I saw it.

it is typical pricing, so don't mind my little fit. sometimes i wish i was balling a little harder, thats all. so just seeing the number is a little cringe inducing. but i too am drawn in by it. and it is addictive.

and i don't want to turn this into a shopping/pricing thread, but my stance on pricing is this: i think of what else i can get for that same amount of money, and then decide if i prefer this item over all of that. like this: harnden blazer or rick owens leather? for me, i'll take the blazer. but if you just think of "blazers", then you can't help but think that its expensive for what it is.

It's always a bit daunting looking at Harnden! For me it's debate between getting a beautifully designed functional piece for the home or a beautifully designed functional Paul Harnden outfit for myself

That's exactly how I have gone about things myself for quite some time, lol. I don't know though, the price you pay with this blazer just surpasses what so many others give you though. For one, the biggest draw I feel is that it easily can be paired with a lot of other designers discussed on this site, probably other stuff as well. It's a very versatile and it stands on its own, and for that reason the price doesn't seem as absurd, because it becomes more than just another blazer.

nope but he's definitely the éminence grise of the recent harnden craze.

Humm... What this little story says about a guy who's not able to distinguish his own work from a knockoff ?
