Lucky you! Them DD creepers seem to be a big hit in this forum with both genders

I wasn't talking about putting tractor tires on boots,
just a fairly unnoticeable vibram sole, as I think
Flux's photograph also shows well. Definitely Recommendable.
Are you afraid of women, Doctor?
        Of course.

MMMMMMMMMMMmmm... Them DD creepers are calling out to me now. How do you think they will hold up on icy/snowy streets, rider? I'm kinda afraid they might not be the most sensible footwear on the streets of London in winter.

i think they would be insta slip since they have smooth crepe soles, but dont let that stop you.

as far as a sure-footed winter choice, i need way more than vibram in my part of the world, its all about a lug sole for grip, some chains wouldnt hurt either at times.

Crepe really sucks on its own after a while: it begins to disintegrate, it loses its colour (if its dark it becomes brighter, if its bright it becomes darker) and may also "expand" due to weight.
I've added rubber on my Yohji crepe-soled creepers and it has worked fine so far.

^really, good to know. what kind of rubber, a simple vibram sole?
i have noticed on the doma high boots that that started to happen a bit but on my clergerie and jil sanders it has not and they are years old. perhaps there are different "crepe" levels of durability.

                just noticed my 666 post.

It's basically identical to the type of thin rubber applied on leather soles... This is the texture.

Does the crepe not start to bulge out, for lack of a better phrase, after being worn extensively?
