more mmm. diamonds on the soles of her shoes is never a bad thing.
i guess these are meant to roughen up a bit too. i like that they expect a beating to improve the shoes attractiveness.

They were indeed from the FW'08 season, extremely beautiful, like wearing ice sculpture on my feet. I'm still looking for the right size til today.

What's the sculpture bit at the back made out of? Polycarbonate of some sort?

Ah. It looked so much like frosted glass I thought it must be more complicated than that. Rubber makes far more sense. Thanks!

Rosenrot - they are stunning! I've now got them in my watch list. I also love your Alaia wedges - would love to see more of your shoe collection.

I second rilu's request - would also love to see rider's shoe collection. It sounds incredible.

I tend to gravitate towards the most ridiculous shoes, even owned a pair of Versace ones just because they were monstrous. But I let them go eventually because they just won't work in my wardrobe (duh!).

I must put myself on a shoe ban, but these have been on my wish list for years. I finally found them in my size.

While I'm always drawn towards crazy shoes, somehow the claw boots don't really speak to me. They're similar to the Dsquared bone heel boots in the sense that the upper has a common shape but slapped on with some eccentric heels. If they work the concept towards the upper of the boots they'd seem less contrived.
