    Predictable. :/

How, do these mediocre films receive Criterion treatment before: Buñuel's "Los Olvidados" Or Mizoguchi's "The Life Of Oharu[?]"
You mean like Armageddon and The Rock on Criterion?

that promo image up above of Charlotte (?) laying on the ground is quite a poetic one. Also was not aware she was blessed with such voluptuous curves.

if that's charlotte gainsbourg then that girls' been popping off her clothes like she lives in an american apparel ad for a while now. i have some magazine where she's done a whole editorial of nude pictures. probably purple.

not that she's bad looking or anything, but it's certainly not as exciting as you would hope for someone of her pedigree.

my bad, i was thinking of lou doillon or whatever her name is. charlotte's always been attractive but surely she's getting older these days. oh well, they're all french so i'm sure they've both been naked in a bunch of magazines before.

im not a fan of lou doillon

charlotte never struck me as falling under my standard terms of 'attractive' but lately i've been finding her oddly irresistible for some reason. Must be the time of year when certain phases come into view.

Re-watched all of Terrence Malick's feature films for an aesthetics and criticism course, he is def. my favorite director; everything is shot beautifully. The way the film is driven on character emotion through acting then with the overlay of internal poetic dialogue...maybe it will inspire me to stop fucking around and start working more on my two scripts for the Nicholl screenwriting contest stuff...

Watched Ulrich Seidl's Import/ Export and Hundstage yesterday. Haven't seen anything from Seidl before, but they are easily the best movies i have seen in the past few months.
