I went to Atelier yesterday to check out the jeans (and other things). They are extremely long - I don't know how a person under 6ft could pull it off without major tailoring. Also, because they are quite volumnous, you'd have to be really lanky, I imagine. They had this black deer leather jacket (it's in the new slideshow) with white stitching, goddamn, it was beautiful. Poell is a real master.

I also so Amadei bags - they were very nice - I liked the harmonica effect. The hardware is actually antiqued silver. I was scared to ask about the prices, brrrr....

BTW, Label Under Construction coming to Atelier next season.

Yep, that's the one. $5k,wow. My estimate was $4k. Well, I'm sure
Jude will pick one up. Amadei bag is also in that picture.

good to know that Joyce is carrying some CCP in HK. I will be there in Nov. hopefully I will be able to go and see what they have. Don't think I will be getting anything with the crazy price tag.

European leather prices are slightly better, but not by much from what I can remember...

Am i the only one here who finds that leather jacket a little creepy?.........a little Buffalo Bill/Leatherface? It's very shaped to the body, and those stiches look so hand-done.... There's something about it gives me the heeby-jeebies.

yeah, but i like it :) i think the mummified lamb leather was much creepier... since it looked like it could be dried human skin.
