tornado or new Atelier grey side-zips?

Which do you like more -- the tornado boot (as shown on Darklands) or the new grey unstructured side zip on Atelier?

Im in search of the drip sneakers in cream in 10 or possibly 11 I have contacted a few places Libary(only size9) AB only size 9 red and darklands only size 7 if anyone know any other places that carried the shoe it would be great.

they told me at libary they sold 16 pairs!so its obviously been a success

A new batch of them has arrived at darklands just yesterday...dunno if they have been presold though...and dont know how many or which sizes...

Please, if someone can link me to a pair of this seasons black derbys with regular laces (not the single lace construction) in size 7 let me know...i posted details on help finding...

I know it's been discussed before, but has anyone else had issues recently with the YKK zips carol's using? I had one break on my fencing the first day I wore it and it looks like another could go soon.

What?! Mine feels solid and sturdy enough to weather a million storms. Got a picture of the zipper problem?

Yeh I'll take some pics when I get a chance. It's just the inside pocket zip so I'm not fussed. I'm definitely not precious with my clothes so I don't care if they're subject to wear and tear, and I get the whole kind of 'being part of an experiment' with Carol's stuff, but broken zippers are a pain in the ass. Especially because he's done a good job of ageing them, so I don't really want to replace them with something else. I actually don't think the zip broke, it doesn't looked to have snapped anywhere, I think it just kind of fell apart.

Take it back. Things like that shouldn't happen. I am sure they'll have it fixed within a year.
