Irrespective of whoever it was, the Stones are aging rock stars. Have they done anything decent since Mick Taylor left, apart from pandering to geriatrics? I don't think so. The last great Stones recording wasn't even by the Stones. Hehe. In any case, I reckon Poell was a Brian Jones fan. He'd play the marimba and Jones a tube sock.

I love it when this thread fires up.

That picture of Brad is amazing. Reignites my burning desire for that jacket. The best part for me is the clasp at the top, strangely enough. I wonder how he got mixed up with CCP in the first place though. Whether he stumbled upon it himself or if his image consultant let him know. In that case, I wonder how many celebrities actually know of CCP, and if so, what their reasons are for avoiding it and buying Balmain, etc. I pray every day that I don't see Kanye or the Black Eye'd Peas in CCP, but you would think that they would actually know about it, wouldn't they?

Guess the difference is that Jude Law and Brad Pitt, though celebrities, are actually fairly good actors and not just A-list celebrities by trade.

      Thanks for the read, Fenrost.

I am quite sure that Will.i.am knows about and probably owns some CCP. I've seen him trying stuff on at Atelier.

Some Girls and Tattoo You are good. But yeah, the Mick T. years encapsulate everything I think of as the 'Stones ethos'

brevity due to bereft time. meaning lost. this happens all too often in my posts of late. my desire to contribute sitting opposite my schedule on the ole ohaus double beam, you know? i meant to equate passion to genuine appreciation in the post. the thought prompted by the fact that they did a suit for me and i can only assume its because they knew there was a space reserved in my heart for the work....and not refuting time&space' assertion that pitt gets his articles mtm by poell, but i've seen his stylist/personal shopper pick up pieces at retail locations only to see them later online in images pulled from rag publications.

pretty sure we've seen this before some pages back. A+ for the effort nonetheless.
