Just back on Poell's "protectionism" of images on the net - could it be he is shifting the power base back to the physical stores and away from the internet?
I bring this up as it is apparently a very real problem in Australia at the moment with stores this Christmas suffering badly due (they say) to the purchasing of goods online.
Poell's insistance that his clothes need to be physically experienced may in fact be a blessing to the stores who work outside of the internet.
Just throwing it out there.

has anybody ever actually washed a ccp leather as per the instructions:

"machine wash in cold water....dry by filling with paper and putting near heating source...."

Any implications for the dye, shape and fit in terms of colour loss and shrinkage?....can't imagine it comes out well from a washing cycle..

First pair of CCPs

Hey All,

I am new to this forum but have been following it for quite some time now. I am ready to purchase my first pair of CCP boots but will like your opinions for the Cordovan Tornado Boots with seams and without seams.
Which do you prefer?

I usually wear size 42 but for Augusta and Guidi I fit 43.

To my understanding I need to be looking for a size 8 CCP.

They currently have the no seams one on Darklands and I cannot locate the seamed version anywhere in a size 8.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just watched this video, thought it might be of interest. I would embed...but Nice close up of textures and the like, especially the rubber towards the end that seems to have living tendrils.
