    Sinha-Stanic S/S 07 - London

I thought this is a pretty cool collection. I see a little Chalayn influence, maybe?

This is an interesting label, especially coming out of London. Maybe
it's just me, but it definitely looks like something that would come
out of the Paris shows (which is a good thing for London). Did
you see this in any stores on your recent trip to London?

      I
like most of the pieces except for the shoes. I'm not a fan of
the chunky soles. I think a flatter shoe or something with just a
      back heel would look better.

I did not, actually. I did not get to go to that b-store, they would probably have it. Yea, I liked this collection, more mature than many other London collections.

I don't mind the more mature London collections(Nicole Farhi,
etc). I think they have a definitive style and look that is
uniquely British. However, as with NYC, sometimes that look can
become a given and lose its freshness. I'm interested to see this
collection in person. I'll try and look for it next time I'm in
          NYC.

Faust, have you been to that new
women's store in Soho? I can't recall the name of it, but the
thing I remember from walking by it is the circular racks that look
like wheels placed on top of one another. I wonder if they would
          carry this label...

Hmm, no I can't say I know the store you are describing. I would imagine that the one store carrying it in New York would be Seven.

hmm. can't say i like it that much- the "designed" pieces look a bit contrived for some reason, i don't feel that with chalayan. the simpler pieces look nice though- and i'm also not a fan of those chunky heels.
