A fake pair of leather pants was sold on eBay (for around $300). The seller claimed them to be Carpe diem (»recognized by the custom line of green fabric along the lining«), they to my eye weren't produced to resemble Carpe diem (inspite the green line).

Anyway, y'all can bash him as you wish.
this "game" is pointing out that his aesthetic has most certainly had a lot of variation over the years. linings or fitment doesn't really change this. the materials, cuts, overall style and even the presentation of the garments are all completely different in these examples representing different seasons. calling this bashing is kind of ridicilous, its just an observation.

Not trying to derail this thread even further, but imo the images above above seem to project a consistent and cohesive aesthetic.

                        thought

I love soo much all this line..and the gruop of this label coming from CArpe Diem...but I think this style is very temporary ... that too many of these designers are doing the very same clothes their trad ...
To put it another way, I see not 'créateur' between them .. but only an excellent technique and ideas of style much closer to the design rather than fashion.
                        What do you think???

One wonders where it will end, when everything has become gay.
