firstly, what exactly is your point? if you look back a page or two, you said the same exact thing about 4 months ago in this thread - "everything looks the same / I'm tired of it." fine, but why are you still preaching the same thing.

secondly, from what I've gathered it doesn't seem like you have a very thorough knowledge of how these labels operate, so why make assumptions. no, they don't have "sales departments", actually some of the designer even handle sales themselves. And pretty much all of them are very low key about their work, they avoid press most of the time.

I personally think the recession/depression vibe of the world kinda makes the arte povera styles all the more appealing at this time... If you sometimes are uncomfortable spending so much on clothes, it's at least comforting to know that others at least look at you like you're thrifty... That said, on days when you're with your kid, just laughing over silly stuff, it's hard to understand the designers who are totally averse to color... or to be fully satisfied by those who seem to try to evoke a single mood.
