i can get my hands on a pair of guidi black stag side zips in a 38 for $700. first would these fit a usual 37, and second, they have a low heel, i was going to hold out for a back zip high heel but the idea of slipping into a lower heel for comfort is starting to be appealing...

rider my gf has a similar pair backzip and she lives in them shes a 38 and only went one size up, fit perfect now

Rider, go for it. The size should be right. I like the higher heel, but the higher heeled ones also come with a thicker sole which I don't like at all.

Rider, my girlfriend has the higher heel version and went one size up...but it's actually a little big? On my backzips I went 2 sizes up, but she supposedly should of went tts...but I still say get it. The difference is marginal and it's nothing a decent insole can't fix.

Also, if you're going for comfort: flat heel > higher heel. Even though the higher heel is fat, it's not ideal for walking 'everywhere'. This is all information my girlfriend has mentioned to me though...so don't quote me on it!

Beau, I would. Besides the fact that I dislike the RO trainers, I would choose the Augusta's in a second since the color is lovely, and like beardown mentioned you could dye them.
