I met Rick at Barney's last evening. He was signing his book <<L'ai-je bien descendu?>>, it's really a heavy oversized book of (mostly his) photography and includes a few interviews (Olivier from Purple mag, etc). The 5th floor was full of black- and/or leather-clad beautiful people. His womenswear was on full display and is gorgeous. I wish Barney's menswear buy was better but at least NY has Atelier. I met the man (warm, charming, I got the Warhol impression from him too), met Michelle, Rick signed my trainers. Very very cool.

Incidentally, he towered over me in his heels. I'm a bit more than 5'8" and he was easily six inches taller.

Found an article on his upcoming book. Seems to be mostly on his photography with some other random little things thrown in. Could be kinda neat to see his weirdness captured in a book, but for $350... ouch, pricy!
