I would be really suprised and disappointed if this was true. I'm just hoping that there are still more leather/treatmeants not seen yet. I'm really hoping for a white or white blistered Mollino.

Yeah, definitely Chelseas.. But in his defence there are boots known as jodphurs, but the more common term is paddocks

Does anybody know how the military boots for SS09 fit? -

Thinking of getting a pair now they are on sale, I wear a 41 in the trainers, think I should size up to a 42 for the boots? they look mighty narrow to me

I picked up the same size for both and found the boots to be slightly roomier. Slightly.

Oh, thanks! What size did you pick up for both? hmm, reckon I should go with the same size then since the trainers fit just nice. I'm just worried that the ankle up onwards may be too tight since the boots are so high and looks narrow. and how are they, you mind posting a fit pic?

I got 45's for both. Are you worried about them being too tight in the calf area? Well, don't be. Loosen the laces a bit for some mad pant tuckage.

heh, yea, I'm worried about the calf area, you are right about the laces, think I'll go with the same size then, thanks :)

btw Spencer, do you know if the padding on the inside of the boots are thick/heavily padded/lined or it's normal? It may fit just slightly loose as the trainers had quite a compact and thicker padding on the inside I feel.

They are definitely not as padded, but the size difference is negligible. At least for me. The laces will allow for adjustment as you see fit. If I'm going to be wearing them for an extended period of time, I'll just throw on a thicker pair of socks and loosen the laces just a tad.

Not to beat a dead horse, but, atleast here we say jodphurs to those kind of riding shoes. Got a sister, girlfriend, grilfriends mother who's been riding all of their life and they always has reffered to them as jodphurs.

The subject isn't something I have a degree in so I won't argue too much about it.

What do you think of his usage of the elephant boots?

Well, he has made a good job of making the boots disappear, but if this is the only way wearing them, why wear them?

I feel the boots are superflouos and I just can't see what they bring to the outfit that no other type of footwear could, since that would be the only way justifying wearing them imo.. They're just clumsy and ugly looking to me, in a bad way.

They look like the perfection of anti-functionalist footwear + ugly ugly ugly!!!
