i think that labels from earlier seasons were sewn more like the women's are sewn today. aligned horizontally and only stitched on the left and right sides... versus today the men's are usually stitched all the way around and aligned vertically.

But your description of the earlier label describes the piece I received perfectly. Have you bought a piece from the earlier collection? or do you remember looking at the labels? thanks!

I have several pieces from 03-05 - the labels are exactly as diamonds described

Hey guys, I've been lurking around this forum for awhile and figured it's about time I registered.
My brother is in London for a business meeting so i decided to ask him to drop by the RO shop tomorrow. I e-mailed flo to ask about any asymmetric leather jackets in the sale and she said the one in sale is the Brown Blistered leather one. Has anyone got an image on how this may look like?

Tried searching in the internet but I'm not quite sure. I'd go to the shop myself but I'm in Malaysia.

You should be aware as well that the blistered leather, due to its treatment, is very soft and doesn't feel stiff at all : it's more like a soft fabric and it doesn't hold the shape of the jacket, unlike usual RO's . And the skin is completely destroyed, like a very old worn out shredded fabric.

This shape's name is "Mollino", but I wouldn't say that it's an asymetrical one. You should maybe ask if it's the same that has been put aside for you.

Have just mailed her on this. Thanks again. Along side the jacket I'm purchasing the black on white trainers. and some double layered l/s s/s tees.

i quite like that jacket above in the brown color...it'd be good to see more people rocking that color choice. i know i saw christian with one the other day...it's a good switchup from the usual black/cream.
