i also think rick used to be more focused on luxe fabrics.

im always kinda torn bout that topic , i like luxe textiles cos they feel nice and look nice but sometimes i wish certain pieces werent so luxe . the liners from limo are cashmere and im sure it feels all soft but i think the use of cashmere was mostly to jack the price up to what like $2500 ? i wanted one but not that bad , i figure its a winter piece and worn over my clothes so its not like i woulda been able to rly feel the cashmere on my body . i used to buy a lotttt of lanvin who also uses luxe materials , one summer collection i think ss08 was crazy im talkin mirrored copper sneaks , fuckin $800 polos etc , but i was willing to drop mad loot $$$ cos the materials played a big ass part of the feel and look , those xtra long hoodies were all silk and mad thin and billowed like a cloud ( ya sounds dumb but i loved the effect ) and i dont think it woulda worked if a diff material was used , typin that makes me miss that era of lanvin :(

For the sneakers, I have managed to find a solution. Now this is how it looks like and I did just that for all the RO footwear that I own. It will now last me much much longer than the usual. As for the basics, it still shred like nobody biz.

I've been trying to figure it out for some time but simply can't: How many different blazers (cuts - not fabric) did Rick Owens do this season? The one in stores, that is.

Has this one been made in a long version as well? I've been looking like crazy - especially for one in the same fabric:

I found a long blazer in the same fabric on Mr. Porter, but the cut seems to be different:

So my question is pretty much:
Does someone know if the blazer from LN-CC exists in a long version and knows the item code for it? And even better: If it exists in the same fabric and where I can find it.

seven different cuts this season.

there is a "long version" of the bomber blazer, but not produced in the seersucker fabric. the fabric is made available only on three cuts - bomber blazer, waist pocket blazer, and the soft classic jacket.

It's not once a month, unfortunately.
But I've been there I guess 4 times and I really think it's the best party in otherwise dull Paris nightlife.

Drunken trannies, lotsa booze and good music.

has anyone compared the rick owens rizzoli book to the l'ai je bien descendu? book ?
i thumbed through the l'ai je book when it was at maxfield, have seen a few pages from the rizzoli book - but i'm wondering if they are pretty much the same book beyond different size and cover, limited numbers, etc.

There are a fair few additions in the Rizzoli - maybe 25%ish is new. But the paper stock and binding are not as nice, and some photos have been upsized, perhaps unnecessarily. But it is a mass-produced item at a fraction of the price so...
