I think it does. By now it's all about the clientelle at A. They are a loyal bunch. At least it won't be any less bizarre than IF picking up Y's and Y3, and they are ACROSS THE STREET from Yohji boutique.

True. I know for myself, I will order from A before I order from the RO boutique....or any other store for that matter.

I mentioned this in another thread, but Alan Bilzerian has some RO stuff on sale. The RO mainline shirts from s/s 07 are around $160 a piece. Pretty good if you ask me

Thanks, Casius. The womens is absolutely awesome. I like that Rick doesn't only put out standard fair jeans and denim jackets, but actually experiments with denim. Surely a sign of his integrity as a designer.

I'm not too down with the VHOKB t-shirts [why is everyone on their bandwagon these days?] but everything else looks nice. I think the women's stuff is more interesting and inspired than the men's this time around...

I'm with you on the tees. Not down with them at all.

I consistently find RO's collection for women more interesting than the men's. I really like the length of the sleeves on a couple of the jackets. I want to say that he had found the point at which Thom Browne should have stopped in his S/S 08 collection. OK, so I said it (though in Thom Browne's defense, he wasn't trying to make it work so much as he was indulging in his freedom to experiment).

I think he's been friends with Kembra Pfaler for years, so I don't think it's accurate to include Rick on the VHOKB bandwagon.

That said, outerwear wins for me too. I saw a guy at NY's new Apple store wearing the huge Exploder bomber and regretted passing on it. I can't wait to see buyers' individual shots of the clothes.
