Yup. It's a sick bag. The leather is so smooth it's amazing. I believe they're $2K. I have they're thin belt but the one you just posted is insane. Very impressed with how he created the belt loop just by splitting the ends and stapling them together. Wish I had insight like that.

if anyone knows any european stockists of ma+ please post them here! there seems to be a very high mark up in japan on the smaller items.

I'd be shocked if L'Eclariereireireirere did not pick this up.

Picked up the medium sized coin purse (actually a wallet) by MA+ this past weekend at A.

Done in really beautifully processed pigskin with the signature + done in the brass staples.

Even after being in my back pocket for a few days, it's already beginning to break in nicely!

                    pix soon!

                      JC Report:

As the designer responsible for Carpe Diem's leatherwear, Maurizio
Amadei is no stranger to turning animal skins into clothing and
accessories rife with clever construction techniques. This familiarity
is evident in his a/w '06-'07 collection for his own label, M.A+, in a
large messenger bag fashioned from one piece of leather that has no
seams, and whose sides have inventive fan-like folds secured only by
metal pins. For s/s '07, Amadei confidently explores beyond bags and
belts, sets aside his choice material of leather, and offers instead a
small collection of menswear that still manages to showcase his
penchant for innovation. Despite its cozy cotton jersey fabric, a
                      WWI-aviator-inspired, form-fitting hooded zip-up looks weighty, and a
blue Japanese cotton jacket appears to be textured satin, its pockets
seemingly sliced from the fabric by a dull knife — even Amadei's
unmentionables, silk cotton long johns and boxer shorts, warrant some
serious attention for their luxe utilitarianism.

                      s/s 07

love the top belt! looking forward to his clothing also. but silk cotton long johns and boxer shorts?

Yep, JoJo showed me the buy for next season and it's.... interesting. They are getting the hyper expensive underwear.

cotton canvas may be your best bet. you could probably get some mud and bake in the creases so its stiff. but as i remember it, the pleats weren't stiff- but that was awhile ago and i wasn't really paying much attention.
