/\ I share in your supposition as well A. I am of the sentiment that Luca is one of the few designers whose output for men is far superior to that produced for women.

Wow. was there any explanation? Not enough sales volume to support continued design efforts?

Totally agree with you guys about LUC being more menswear oriented. Is it possible that he would move to the Dior Homme concept of offering androgynous pieces? And/or shift garment sizing for two sexes?

I'm kind of digging the shoes...there like Bosabo but nicer. However, I don't think I could justify shelling a crazy number of clams for knit shoes.

so many of those pieces had potential behind their ideas, but the execution just looks like some forgotten-in-a-macys-shopping-bag-for-10-years-in-the-salvation-army-back-room look and feel to them.

Pity the jeans look as if they're cut terribly.

Joey, I'm loving that LOL WUT pic!!!

                          I know right?

Honestly, if I had to bake a knit, I would experiment with baking it on a mannequin form... taking the whole idea of baked in creases with denim to a different level.

I know a lot of folks on here talk about LUC pants and such being "anti-fit" but there's that and then there's just plain bad fits hahaha

The footwear is an interesting direction (wool over leather? A harkening back to CDiem days?) but man, brother do a boot!!

I was reading this thread on my phone. I saw the product shot of the shoes and thought they were awesome. Knit over leather. I would buy them. Than I scrolled down and saw the fit pic...and thought, damn I'd return 'em. Where the fuck did I put that receipt? I think shoes should look good on feet.

Are the legs cut differently from each other? They seem to be off on both pairs. I wonder why? It looks really strange. I have to say that I really like that outside twist seam that goes up through the seat of the pants. Like A said. Great ideas that are overshadowed by the detrimental execution.
