gee i wonder what's gonna happen at post 100

    on topic:
Dane which flowery fragrance should I try? I've been in the mood for one for some time, but don't know which to go for. Fleur de cassie?
I do not recognise the vessel,

Something more to go on? Woody-floral; butch/fem; classic; raunchy; green; etc. etc.? Any preference on which flower?

UFdCassie is good stuff, but not particularly floral (at least for something with "fleur" in the title). Still worth trying if you cross paths.

I'd like something that smells of spring, to battle winter depression. Not too fem. No particular flower in mind, although lilac would be nice as they remind me of my parents garden. :p

edit: just ordered en passant. thanks Dane

En Passant (Malle) is a natural suggestion...lilacs, a touch of fresh bread, not overtly feminine.

Otherwise, some random suggestions. None are too feminine (to me anyway):

-La Tulipe by Byredo ($$$) (green floral-mishmash)
-Lily by CDG ($$) (green lily)
-Iris 39 by Le Labo ($$$) (green patchouli-floral)
-Unicorn Spell by LesNez ($$) (green violet)
-Le Temps d'Une Fete by Parfums Nicolai ($$) (green narcissus)

If those are too pricey, I can suggest cheaper mall stuff. Most lilac scents smell cheap and air-freshener-like, aside from the Malle, although Yves Rocher's is decent, but closer to mimosa than lilac.

Yep, I've gone to some of shave shops and they didn't sell them. I prefer Feather over Merkur razor blades.

After running out of my serge samples I decided to try something else and am now in between monocle hinoki or cdg 2 man. Will probably go to barneys this week to sniff around and make up my mind

I'd definitely go for Hinoki over 2 man, lasts a lot longer. Also try out Olivier durbano's black tourmaline.

has anyone tried CDG "A new Perfume"? the one in the clear, oddly shaped bottle? i'm very intrigued by the notes which include scotch tape & glue!

it's weird...as expected. a bit too weird for me to wear, but it's definitely not uninteresting.

Weird is a fitting description, but as Dane already concluded, it is an interesting fragrance indeed. I ordered a sample when it came out. It's a bit too much on the sweet side for me to wear it regularly, but I somehow feel drawn to it at times. In my head it somehow evokes an image of a huge hall in a DIY store with plenty of flowers under plastic tarps.
