    Exit. Not emergency.
Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

One of the most beautiful watches I have ever handled

you can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter...

Yes, LF makes beautiful watches and the movements are mesmerizing.

I had the pleasure to see the classic irl and it's an absolute stunner.

I'm also a fan of the upside down from Ludovic Ballouard.

Just ordered this Archimede Klassik 39. I don't know much about watches but spent time researching this choice. German manufacturing, a relatively new company that delivers a lot of value for a watch under a grand. They changed the design in 2012 and took it down to 39mm which is nice for those with a smaller wrist. I'm looking forward to wearing it.

Also they make a sport watch that might appeal more to the SZ crowd.

Archimede is a brand owned by Ickler. Does anyone have any previous experience or knowledge about them? Just curious.

Are there brands that fit in with the general SZ aesthetic ?
I find that wearing traditional watches with full RO (or whatever) gear just doesn't mesh.
Or should I just not wear a watch then ?

I dont know what you think would fit with sz aesthetic...

Imo, the following all have some pieces that would work.

                      urwerk, hautlence, mb&f, rm

                      All pretty expensive though!!!

Nice pilgrim, I have an Archimede watch I'm very happy with, the Pilot 42 mm automatic with brown strap.

Don't get me wrong, those are some pretty nice watches.
But they're all very technical, futuristic even.
I meant something a bit more minimalistic.
Something like Natasha Brilli's Nolex bracelet, but that actually tells the time, of course.

In that case, i'd look at rado or movado.

Otherwise, if you want a black one and you like some model from some company that comes in steel only, you can have it blackened 'usually dlc'.

I'm not familiar with their models but this one looks kind of similar to the nolex bracelet you mentioned.

Sorry, I couldn't seem to copy the image I wanted but I love Nomos for their simplicity. They even have a sun dial that can be worn as a ring or pendant. Might as well go to the source rather than have some of the other blurry images I found:
