found the fashionspot from googling Carpe Diem/Poell stuff
saw a member called Faust who did loads of posting
went to his blog, liked it, bookmarked it
and weeks/months later Faust opened StyleZeitgeist and wrote about it in his blog
    that's how I came here :)

use a hosting service, like tinypic.com or imageshack.us - upload your picture there. they will give you a readymade link for forums which you just paste in a body of a post.

    I'm a really huge fan of www.photobucket.com

Your limit is 1000 photos for free, but it has taken me over a year to reach that point... you can always open up another account easily.

Their layout is great and cutting/pasting urls is smooth and easy.

[quote user="clay"]First I noticed Faust was missing from TFS. So I looked up Faust's profile and found his blog and realized he started his site, which I knew must be good, so I came over and signed up.

Did you know that tFS banned me for starting SZ? [Y]

I got a rather curt PM when I started my own site a year or two ago.

I did? I don't even remember that to be honest...i've been lurking on here for a while, but didn't sign up until recently. I can't recall how I heard about it, but "through the grapevine" is the best answer i can give.

My friend introduced the site to me as a place where I could engage in polemics and rhetoric vis-a-vis fashion and such.

    Good evening.

I guess it's a "presentation" post... well anyway I'm new here, I've been reading this forum for two month or more, and I'm from tFS (belletrist) although I don't go there anymore...

Basic informations: I live in the french riviera, I'm 18 and I'm learning politics, sociology and philosophy, and that's all...

    Cheers [:)]

This site was mentioned to me by some 4chan members, believe it or not, and on IRC.

I'm so glad I found this place, and Faust, I wish your blog was still running! I spent a good few hours reading through the posts from years ago

No time to maintain it, since I now focus on SZ and write professionally, but thank you for the compliment. I am glad that it's still there and there are some gems to be read, and thank you Google for not deleting it.

I was looking for Julius/ _7 runway shots, and found a whole archive of like minded designers. Still lurk that section everyday.
