Ralph Steadman - Gonzo Illustrator

I really love this guy's work. He was Hunter Thompson's illustrator, and his pictures totally complemented Thompson's haphazard gonzo style of writing. I want to read his book on Thompson, "The Joke is Over." Has anyone read it yet?</p>

One of my long-time favorite illustrators, both for style and for the fact that I have rarely, if ever seen art that so precisely and perfectly compliments the writing between the covers. </p>

I'll be interested to see what people think of his book, might be worth taking a look at. </p>
