Yes, unfortunately I have exceeded my bandwidth, and they'll first be viewable again when they reset it. I'll upload them to another service, as I did with the new collection threads.

      Edit: All uploaded again.

The photo of PJ Harvey all in Ann is beautiful, though I don't agree with the article on her last album, but that's for the music thread.

Apparently Ann outfitted PJH for the new tour. Woot!

Nice photo of Polly. I disagree with what most of that writer had to say.

Tickets for the NY show (one of three in the US) go on sale tomorrow. Polly and the band will all be wearing Ann, it should be amazing.

wow so poetic. did she really have to 'design' this crap?

She designed it for her studio, and Bulo liked it enough to produce it and sell it. I think it's a beautiful table.

                A) I love the table, space, and photos depicting them.

                B) I read the Ann in Antwerp article and it just reiterated how much I am in love with Ann. Her voice is so specific through her garments, and on top of that it is very unique. It doesn't seem that any other designs even evoke such an aesthetic.

in other words lover her, love it.

Sorry, don't know how to embed Vimeo, but here is a short interview with Ann. Her accent

"It's like you made a present for them..."

"It's not about the hype and the fashion, it's just to...to create, to try to give something..."

I like how she emphasizes how much it means to her when the circle comes back to her.
"Lots of people who think they are into fashion are actually just into shopping"

^ The difference would be the quality of construction, materials and details. A lot of what makes the clothing discussed on this forum stand apart from mass market clothing.

Nice video interview with Polly discussing her new album and working with Ann Demeulemeester.

Here are a couple photos from the Paris gig last night

To be honest, although I assume the quality of the table is good, there is no need to objectively justify something like this to someone who doesn't like it/appreciate it. People who like it and can afford it will kop, and that's all there is to it.

I never really got into PJ besides a few songs and Desert Sessions but I love Ann designing her tour gear so here are some more photos...
Just WOW to the whole look... !!

Aah, so that's what Ann meant when she said Polly looks good in feathers... Thanks, Jen!
