Thanks. Putting that into consideration. Currently my wardrobe contains lots of white and blue shirts. In terms of fit, they are more roomy. Thinking of starting with a pair of pants.

Just wondering, how do you mix and match your YY items? Or you have build up a lot YY in your wardrobe.

I agree it's a good idea to start with a pair of loose trousers, and then perhaps a long black blazer.

The only things Yohji I have successfully integrated in my wardrobe are his knits and footwear. However I have a very fitted wardrobe.

I personally find it very hard to pull off a mix/match with anything else than yohji....but i would go for a pair of pants or jacket...or maybe a set...

Ops. Guess I'm discovering the rules here.

Potential fake perhaps? Don't take my word for it though, as I've seen dozens of different Y's label designs.

Not fake, just really old. Not sure of the exact year when the labels were changed for the Y's lines but I'm guessing this is from mid to late 80's?

I like the fact that on YYPH show he uses real people as models. There was a smaller guy as well as a big guy on SS2012 runway.

My concept for this main brand was that after trying so many fashion, when people are very tired of everything, then come... I can satisfy you. Because of it's simple-ness.

In simpleness, I am hiding things. Bomb. Excitement. Secret excitement.

^ Actually I extracted it from this interview:

To be honest, after wearing skin-tight RO, CCP etc, YYPH is a breath of fresh air, literally. Comfort plays a greater role as one ages... I find myself buying YYPH again after 4-5 years of not doing so.

totally agree, Ive had an interesting conversation with the staffs in the yohji store when I asked them if they wear yohji everyday even off work, or if they switch to something else like skinny jeans, they told me that the spacey clothes were to comfortable to get out of them.
