There are some memorable instances in the film, but for the most part it's a plug for Y-3

that's a great point. and as kkr said, it's especially true for graphic design. one of the toughest parts in doing creative work is accepting that ultimately, there's only one way you'll be able to do well. and that's your own. repeating yourself over and over again improves your skills and your confidence when you final put something out there.

You may want to try out Emule (emule-project.net), some rare gems could be found there. Don't forget to find the server that have the most files and selects global before you can search for anything.

I agree that Isabel does amazing things and this seems like really sound and inspirational advice for anyone starting out.

Yohji was my first fashion epiphany - the pieces I own from him are like a special combination of a cocoon and armour - I can move in them - covered protected but still me.

I have a pair of silk pants that I got in 1998 and have worn them to death - literally. There are worn areas at the lower seat section - and are now retired to a quite shelf in my closet.

After seeing the YYPH SS 2013 - I am filled with joy and anticipate being able to replace my beloved pants. The colors were joyful as well and the cut + flow of many of the pieces -

Thanks for the info - will have to see if there's something similar in SS2013.

the wool gabardine wrap/tuck pants with drawstring hems from ss13 have a rather similar silhouette when worn, except without the pleats. could probably give those a try.
