it's what i do. never jump on trends for tattoos, unless u are ok with being a living catalogue for them. i know some ppl are fine with that - kind of a collector mentality i guess.

I believe this is what Peasant meant by all black!

really? seems more like a filter, just like MikeN said. And booked till oct 2015 is definitely bullshit, no one does that
Anyway, check hanumantra maybe? I don't know where he's based, he tattooed gogue lately so he's probably based somewhere in the US.

If you want some insane blackwork, then the best is based in Germany => Gerhard Wiesbeck.

Thanks for posting the $ details about Roxx.

I will delete her now from my Instagram feed.

Nothing worse than tattoo artists that take the total p*ss.

The bit where she decides what she marks on you is totally and utterly absurd.

              Feeling it.
I've been following him when he was only doing hairy animals, the skulls are insane. Adam from Atelier Noir in Kiev makes absurdly good skulls too
He works in Aka Berlin if I'm not mistaken, who was the one here in SZ who usually go there for VH?
btw, his friend nicobrd is really good too, check it out

not crazy about the barbe rousse guy, lots of things look like coverups. otherwise great artistry, but too much black, might end up looking like black blobs

Really? I don't think so... I mean, if those end up looking like black blobs, then anyone with a hooper piece will end up with a roxx piece...

I can't see how any of them look like cover ups unless you're referring to the heavy contrast. Tattoos have a lot more longevity these days as well.

well this one is a good example of what I was refering to, the bottom part looks like it could be covering a small preexisting tattoo.

the skill and artistry doesn't look bad by any means, I'm just not into that much heavy black. if I wasn't trying to hide something, I'd be super pissed off at having a thick black blob like that on my arm

I'm more into Roberel's style for instance, I really like the way she draws.

                          http://www.roberel.com/tattoo/

not every design is necessarily my cup of tea, but I find her style of drawing much lighter and more appealing to wear on skin

That guy is very talented. Not something I'd get though. In the end it's just like clothes.. we all have our own taste. I like when there is at least some ode to the classics. I.E. heavy lines, bold imagery, etc.

it's a girl , but yeah to each their own. I'm just weary of too much black detailing and like things to look relatively clean. I also hate shading.

I just think we have very different tastes
