    Re: dilemna

It's funny how one is trying to discuss style philosophy, but no one is interested! [79] ...
I'll try again I think deleuze's words are magnificent!

But yes laika, lets go dancing! [<:o)]

That's not true. We just don't think philosophy automatically equates to facile lofty verbalizing, that's all. Not saying this to be mean, but as some people whose intelligence I don't doubt for a second have indicated, your posts are incomprehensible, and therefore not conducive to discussion. So, it's either you restate what you've said in terms more graspable, or you end up talking to yourself. After all, you are not exactly Foucault, and therefore can hardly demand that much effort from a reader, especially on fashion forums.

        How do you know? [66]

So now we are back at the Butler/Sokal dilemma again, and that brought us nowhere! [86]
I don't doubt anybody intelligence either, I don't think intelligence has anything to do with this
and there will probably be post around here that I can't comprehend, but that doesn't make
them lofty, and if I have an interest in trying to understand them I'll use the time necessary,
if not I'll just read "over" them. Maybe we are just different that way!

Hmmm! Maybe my incomprehensibility comes from the fact that English is my second language!? [^o)]

In the sense that we are discussing Style Philosophy, I have never been concerned with "in the right"
nor that of wrong, true or false, or other dialectic and subjective discourses. Though I do wholeheartedly
believe that a style philosophy should resist the temptation of becoming majoritarian. Not in the sense of
opposing stance or rebellion, but more as differences that are able to communicate with others. The aim
would be to connect or relate ones style philosophy to that of others, to create a collective style philosophy,
that can act and communicate in common, while remaining eternally different(differences remain different).
Maybe a style philosophy that explores the nomadic wanderings of desire. [51]

I have to say sorry, but I will try hard, if not for the sake of discussing style philosophy, then for the
sake of Laika's health, the speed she is popping those pills is worrying! [<:o)] ... [74]
