Agree. Love what Ms. Park does very much for both men and women.

Any comments on F/W '12 trousers in wool/nylon blend?

I want to order a pair as the texture is lovely and the top block/seat looks roomy enough for me while still adhering to a great taper in cut.

I am afraid though that it maybe similar to the LeU trousres in a heavy cotton I picked up from F/W '12 in similar size that ended up way too loose in the waist due to the style. Seems like labels are producing sweat like trousers nowadays with the button up closing, which depending on the fabric may cause it to droop rather than stand up. This causes an odd effect in the front rise IME. More so, some labels are "kind" enough to include belt loops just in case but IME, again, it did not help much with the LeU trousers. The front rise just wear oddly on me. It was a combination of high rise and imitation (or natural) drop crotch that threw off the balance. Conversely, I probably should have sized down to a 46 to take into account the material and style. It was essentially a "glorified" sweat pant..

The Forme'D I am looking at has similar style construction with the button up front, but I think what may help is the drawstring closure. I wonder if this will give the waist enough strength to hold up the seat area and help with the front rise. To add, it is in a wool blend material with a wool lining so I am thinking it maybe more structurally sound than say composition of heavy cotton.

      Thoughts?

A, use the sizing thread for sizing questions. B, size down - I got a 48 last season and a 46 this season in the same cut and the 46 fits perfectly.

Forme is the most understated and underestimated brand on this forum.

Thanks for the images and comments on Forme D'expression, Faust and Ahimsa. While I form my own opinions, your comments and images made me slow down and pay more attention ( as well as some senior members in other forums) to designers and ideas I might have initially skimmed over.
I'll pay attention to Forme from now on.
