I'm guessing you mean Tracy Pew, the bass player in the cowboy hat. Very sadly, he died in an epileptic seizure in 1986. Not easily forgotten though!

I must say that whole scene is alien to me, probably because I was too young for it. Even Joy Division came to me in a roundabout way, via the Nine Inch Nails cover of Dead Souls (which I still think is better than the original [79]).</p>

One of my favorite things about Blixa Bargeld's style is that he's about the only person I can think of whose so serious about hats. He's got the same thing on just about every time (at least once he started wearing black suits / black shirts all the time), but he always seems to have a different hat.
