I really enjoy this as well. The colors go perfectly together and I even enjoy the prints. A good departure from the all black and white collections and definitely an upgrade from the Dada references in SS08.
I think it's certainly nice to see something so different from the unfortunate Dada collection, but man... I really can't get with the prints. I have to say, I think this collection is "passable" at best. I think after this I can say with more-or-less certainty that Dries had my favorite collection of this season.

I'm utterly relieved!. I really love this. This speaks volumes to me.

The color palette is beautiful. And yes to the hats!

Demeulemeester and Doma is so far the best I have seen! [64]

Edit: Add Gaultier to those two!

I think I could wear the flower print trousers without looking supergay.... am I crazy?

love the boots a lot too. and the pinstripe trousers.

I wonder if she's doing the oversized shirts again? can't tell with all of them tucked in.

my first impression is that I really hate that pattern especially since its on quite a few different looks..

The color pallette is nice but the prints are too much. I'm not one to wear only black, but I think Ann does best when she sticks to black and white. The boots look amazing though!

Although she bombed SS08, I think Demeulemeester is back in full form for FW. I'm really loving the color palette (especially those somber browns). I'm a bit worried about the prints, but other than that I'm really looking forward to seeing this in the stores.

[EDIT]: looking back over the collection one more time, I kinda wish Ann used a bit more burgundy in her collection..

Liking the black, actually I'm sold, though Faust's effeminate comment stands. Store buyers won't go deep into colour/print, it's commercial suicide. Personally I'd work my own sombretones back into the black pieces, and I'm quite liking the Amish look of the hat shape.

I'm still on the fence on this one.

I can't stand the prints, and Faust has articulated the word I was just looking for. As a whole this collection is not androgynous, it's just effeminate!

Then again if it was all black I'm sure I'd like most of the individual pieces...

I wonder what this will spell for the women's collection.

let us raise a toast to ancient cotton, rotten voile, gloomy silk, slick carf, decayed goat, inflamed ram, sooty nelton, stifling silk, lazy sheep, bone-dry broad & skinny baffalo.

meh, its ann when it hits stores it will be all black vests and jackets and cardigans. even the buys for the dada collection have been pretty solid so far in my opinion.

i love this, such a beautiful presentation

i assume the theme is heaven since she printed that on the tees

seems really fitting with the looks

the colors just seem to blend together so well, with the background color and all

not that i would wear most of the stuff, but it really drew me in
