I'm going to be in nyc in a couple weeks and I really want to see the mcginley gallery, but my only day free is a Sunday and the gallery is closed that day :(

Dunaj sorry to hear that. [:(] Most of the images in this show are actually quite beautiful. Even though I am a big fan and supporter of Ryan's work, which may render me slightly biased, I dont always find each image astoundingly wonderful (although I do find most to be). I think that some of the images in this exhibition extraordinarily illustrate the body in space, moving beyond the road trip aspect. He seems to have the ability of capturing the figure in space at a very precise moment in time that can be quite remarkable.

This is one of my favorite images in the exhibition. It has stayed with me.

        EDIT: It was great.[66]

I'm a big fan too. I would love to own one of his prints someday!

I think I'm going to walk by the gallery even though it will be closed and see if I can catch a glimpse of anything by looking through the window!

Do we really need an opening for this? Hasn't FRUITS or whatever been doing a pretty intense study of this sort of things for years now?
