[quote user="ddohnggo"]all this talk of other music made me go to their site. i haven't been on it in a while and there're some records i need to pick up like the new autechre.

Their weekly update newsletter is indispensable.

funny, because i've been on the mailing list for a long time and i always delete them. haha. other music and aquarius records in san francisco are the two newsletters for music worth getting.

i'll have to download soulseek again. i haven't used it in a while. do you have any gescom?

      whitney biennial after-party

For anyone in the NYC area who's interested there's another Whitney Biennial opening and after-party at the Armory tonight. You need an invitation to get into the Whitney, but the after-party which starts at 9 is open to the public. It's a great place to look at art and scam on free drinks and your fellow human beings.

i'll be in town this weekend too! Going to be at soho sunday and the upper east on monday. Anybody have any recommendations for a place for lunch in soho on Monday? I'm going to be swinging by Supreme on Lafayette to see if I can get one of those kermit tees =P

Wow what a piece. Who's work is this? A little constrictive but the ballerina inspired skirt is great. And that hat... Must have. [83]

went to the gang gang dance performance at the armory and it was pretty sweet albeit a bit short. got there at 8:58 and then their show ended at 9:15. regardless, the music was fucking dope with some tribal drum circle shit going on.

ended up running out of time and not going[:(] wow really short, but would have loved to see it with the tribal drum circle. sounds great. they are playing again at the beginning of may - i think- at the whitney on one of the friday night things. so hopefully a longer show.
